Brighton Camp - 90 years

My FAVORITE place in this entire world is Brighton. I absolutely cherish the memories of the 4 summers I spent there. And I relish any opportunity to go back. The smell, the sounds, the trees, the sky, the people, the memories. Love it all.

I had the opportunity to speak at a devotional there this summer. And then a few weeks later I participated in the 90th birthday program, and farewell to Floss Waltman, the long-time camp president. I felt so honored. I did have to learn a few new (old) songs - so if you saw me driving around town singing "We remem-remem-remember..." that was why.

I got to show my family around the camp. Seems strange that Barry had never even been "up the hill" before!

I hope Brighton stays a part of my life forever.
